Warzone Cronus Zen setup
No Zen Studio and no downloads. The script is written to the device from your browser in about a minute, and your saved profiles carry over between builds.
What you need
- A Cronus Zen and the USB cable that came with it. The cable must carry data, not just power.
- A computer with a Chromium browser (Chrome or Edge). The installer talks to the device over WebUSB.
- Your controller and its own cable, plus the console you play Warzone on.
- A VeraScripts account with the script you bought on it.
Installing, step by step
- Plug the Zen into the computer using the PROG port, the one nearest the edge. The OLED lights up.
- Open the product page on verascripts.com and sign in.
- Start the browser installer and pick the device when the browser asks which one to connect to.
- Choose the slot you want to write to. Slot 1 is the default, and writing to a slot replaces whatever was in it.
- Wait for the write to finish, roughly a minute. Do not unplug it while it writes.
- Move the Zen to the console, controller into the Zen, and start Warzone.
If the device is not detected
Nine times out of ten it is the cable or the port. Try the other USB port, then a different cable, then a different computer. If the OLED stays dark the Zen is not getting power at all. If it lights up but the browser never lists it, the cable is charge-only. Firmware that is too old to talk to the installer is the next thing to check, and the Cronus guide below covers updating it.
